Hi.

My guidance counselor told me that it is a good idea to do some research and find out if there are any merit based scholarships in the schools that I'm applying to. He said that often times you do not become automatically eligeable for them just by applying to the school itself, and that they often time require additional essays or recommendations. If anyone else has done the research and maybe shares some of my schools it would be great if you could clue me in. The colleges im considering are:

Cornell
Columbia
UPenn
Tufts
Northwestern
Johns Hopkins
Boston University

Thanks for your help in advance, and I really appreciate it.

Look on their websites under "financial aid" or "scholarships"
