I have already graduated from high school and have been out for two years. I'm trying to get resources together to finance college. Since I'm out of high school, are all scholarships out of the question?

No, although most are targeted toward graduating HS seniors, there are some that are specifically targeted to re-entry students/students who had their studies "interrupted."
Also, if you look closely at the wording of some scholarships you'll notice that they specifically mention "entering freshmen" NOT "graduating seniors."
You can check out the books from your local library. Also the About.com adult education section focuses on non-traditional students and also has a list of good financial aid books.

Also forgot to mention, that the individual college financial aid offices will absolutely still evaluate your eligibility for aid (which as a freshman will be alot better that what you'd probably get as a transfer student). Their $$ aren't just for incoming HS grads. Don't let that keep you from applying.
