I am looking for scholarships for middle school students. Our middle school has a huge % of free lunch students, and I would like to help them start their college fund.
Any ideas?

Most scholarships are not something you bank and accumulate early, before you apply to college. The exception is scholarships for things you win, like essay or science contests.
Your best bet now is probably to concentrate on helping the kids at your middle school prepare to be strong applicants for college. After they are accepted, colleges will put together a financial aid package based on parental income.

I pay 13k/per year for private Middle School and that figure will double next year when my second son starts at the same school.
Does anyone know of Scholarships for Middle School and High School students?

I know there private schools which offer scholarships to their students, but that's going to vary from school to school. Sometimes there is a discount for a second child at the same school. You need to talk to your child's school.
I have also heard of philanthropic organizations which offer scholarships to strong students, particularly minorities, languishing in crumbling inner-city public schools. If you were able to afford 13k for the first child, presumably that does not apply to you.
Maybe you should consider making your own school. For 13k a year you could afford a LOT of materials, tutors, special classes, academic summer camps, etc.

Hi, My name is Conan Leon. I have been looking desperately for a scholarship. I am in the eighth grade and the High School I have been accepted to in the Honors Class requires a tuition of about $5,400 a year. I cant really afford that. But i really want to go to this school. I am an excellent student. I have a recent average of 98.1. I do well in all my subjects and interact with everyone perfectly. I have also tried to find organizations or funds for hispanics because I am a Hispanic American. If anyone finds out any information please e-mail me at ConanLeon90@yahoo.com
