Someone was asking about loan limits for college couldn't find old post.
But they weren't clear on whether they were asking about subsidized loans or private loans anyway.
This is about increasing limits for government loans which may be helpful

In fact, some of the loudest calls for increasing the loan limits are coming from public-college leaders, particularly at state flagship universities. They say that the current ceiling on what students can borrow from the federal government -- $2,625 for a first-year student and $22,625 over an undergraduate career -- was set more than a decade ago and lags far behind today's levels of student need.
