Hi,

I was just accepted to do an MA at Columbia at the School of the Arts and despite I am an international student I was expecting some aid since my family earns about $15000 a year. But funny thing is the university never asked about my parents' income and still they refused giving any aid so on what grounds exactly is the aid for international students based? Im quite puzzled.

Thanks.

Some colleges don't offer aid for international students AT ALL so I would check with Columbia.
