i am also the co-ceo of a teen-owned clothing company that two friends from school and i established in december of 2002. we've been featured in three different newspapers, have sold hundreds of items of merchandise, and have had response from all over the nation, and even from places like brazil and turkey. we were invited to spyfest on the queen mary, we have an official business plan published, ficticious name license, all that jazz, its been crazy. and its something unique.
do i have the numbers, ec balance, and overall unique enough of a resume to get into these places? with three varsity letters, two in athletics and one academic, as well as experience in student govt, school newspaper, tutoring, community service, etc etc, is that enough to boost myself past all the 1600-er's and 5.0-er's out there?

Yeah, you in at Brown. Buy a Brown sweater, a license frame, and one of those cute cuddly Brown teddy bears and give it to your girlfriend. The question you should be asking is not how you can get an advantage over the 1600ers...the question you should be asking is how THEY can get an advantage over YOU (or, I should say, they should be asking that question).
By the way, I found it rather amusing that you got a "letter" for heading an academic team. Good luck though, not that you'll need it.
