Most people say that getting into RSI almost guarantees someone admission to all the top colleges in the world...so what about being chosen as an alternate? Is that worth including somewhere in the additional information section of an application, or dumb because I didn't actually have the opportunity to participate...if I could do high school over again, I'd send in my RSI application before the deadline :-(

bump (I used to think the bump was the pounding of somebody's heart as he/she waited in anticipation...I guess it works either way)

So you would have gotten into RSI had it not been for the late app? What were your stats when you applied?

rsi alternate doesn't mean that he or she would have gotten in if the the app was on time. It's one of those..."ya you were great, but we didn't have space. SO SORRY!"
time has nothing to do with it. I send mine in the day before the late deadline.

But still, if you got into rsi, what were your stats? I'm intrested to see what it takes to get in.

do a message search in "HIGH SCHOOL ISSUES." There is at least 1000 posts about RSI applicants.
