I was walking down an aisle at Target yesterday and I pass a professor without noticing. She then proceeds to wave her hands in front of my face to get my attention and then says hi. Strange lady, lol.

I don't even have her for a class, she's just the faculty advisor for one of the clubs I'm in.

That professor is Lee-Mehta btw, who teaches Chinese language.

Wow, that's so strange. I'm not even a Cornell undergrad, but I wrote to that professor three days ago to inform her of my interest in the Asian Studies master's program there (I'm a senior at another university). I totally picked her at random from a list of faculty. It worked out, though, 'cause I received an e-mail yesterday from the head of the department.

OHH MY GOD i loveeeeeeeeeee MRS. Mehta!! sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee's awesome (btw it's francis mehta) and she's the advisor for 10 clubs. I hate the fact that my club (cornell vietnamese association) got a new advisor, but I see her so many times during the week that I'm happy :-) She's sooo great. she is, she's writing a letter of recommendation for me, so yeah. sorry, for going beserk but i just really love her. she's my favoritest faculty member of all times.
