Hey guys-
I was wondering if you could give me some input as to my chances at Penn early decision? My SAT scores aren't high (780 math, 670 verbal) and my SAT II's aren't that great either (720's in Writing and Bio and a 780 in Math IIC). My grades are very high and my unweighted GPA is a 3.94. There are only four kids in my school with a higher GPA. My course selection is the hardest and I will graduate with 7 AP's. That is a lot at my school. I am from Florida if that makes any difference. My sisters went to Upenn and Northwestern. My EC's are pretty strong. I am ed-in-chief of the school newspaper, an editor for the yearbook, editor of another online school newspaper and a regular writer for the area paper in the Sports section. I have attended a prestigious journalism camp at the Poynter Journalism Institute, I have completed more than 500 hours of community service within the past 4 years including being a counselor at a camp for kids with asthma the past two summers. I have interned with a marketing corporation down here and I have attended CTD at Northwestern and NSLC in Washington DC. I am Treasurer of National Honor Society, President of MUN, President of Chemistry Club and I do many other activities too. Based on what I have listed, what do you guys think my chances are for Duke regular decision and Upenn (College of Arts and Sciences) early decision? Also, any other schools you guys rec.?
I forgot to add, I am a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Quill and Scroll and Cum Laude. I am secretary of the Math Club, Math Lab tutor, Hospice volunteer, Science Lab tutor, Writing Center Tutor and in my time at the marketing company, I co-authored an ad campaign to get the sales staff into the CSL (consumer solutions lab).

youd probably get in ED considering your legacy. i heard penn doesnt consider legacy at all RD.

but really, if you absolutely positively want to go to penn, as in youd kill your first born for it, apply ED.

well, i dont know if i want to go to penn THAT bad, either.
