Besides giving a supplemental recommendation for EACH EC, is there any other way to prove what we've done? I don't want to bombard them with letters of recommendations from each EC, or do I have it?

That's why I was advised by the adcom to always substanciate any EC I mentioned. Also, there is a likely chance that you would be asked during the interview.

I asked my counselor about this a few times. She said that it is mostly based on honesty, and that I guess the teacher recs/counselor recs can help to confirm it. Most of the time, when the adcom calls an EC into question, I think, at least from what I gather from reading the admissions books, the Adcom calls your counselor to validate your EC. Hope this helps, because, I am kinda confused about it too.

but then what about your out-of-school ec's...
you would basically have to go to your GC and notify them... right?
