I'm going to send a DVD supplement of some of the movies i've made to colleges, including Yale. How long should this DVD be? Another post, addressing music, said a 10-minute limit. Should this apply to movies too? I'm planning on submitting one short film (5 minutes), one excerpt from a movie (3 minutes), and i dont know how much to put of a full-length future film i made (it totals to be 27 minutes). Is there a preference they have at Yale?

Call the chairman of the film studies dept and ask him as he is the one who will be viewing it. In fact make an appt to go up and meet him and give it to him personally.
