Hi, I'm new to these boards. My question of the moment is what exactly does a good match for Brown mean?

I have heard this phrase used often and I'm afraid I just don't get it. Apparently having this good match is more important than your GPA, SAT scores, etc.

Could somebody please help me; give me an example of what Brown's ideal candidate or whatever would be.

Everyone. We have an incredibly diverse student body and I'm not referring to race/sexual orientation/socioeconomic background which are also diverse but there is diversity in that we are all interesting people. There are two primary types of people here that I have seen thusfar: there are observers and there are the observed. From the observers you gain a perspective that this campus is full of fascinating and interesting people. From the observed you see the grassroots of that concept. Everybody here is multitalented. Everybody here multitasks. Everybody here is interesting. This school rocks.
