OK, i have two questions about the UPENN app:
1. Soemone said that UPENN will not take any community service or extracurricular activities that you put on the app seriously unless you have a rec from the advisor proving that you really had a position and did work etc. First off, is this true? Do i have to then get five recs? And, if it is not true, how does UPenn actually know if the application is true. If im a leader of a club, do i have to do anything to prove to Penn that im the leader?
2. What is the process for getting recs for UPenn? Do i just tell two of my teachers to write recs for me and then send them in or do i have to give the teachers some form to fill out from the apps?
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GET FIVE RECS!!! That is a big lie and Penn will be annoyed that they have to read five recommendations. If they see something that sounds shifty they might call the place or your school, but there is no extra information you need to include proving you held the leadership position or did the community service.
On the App it says that the teachers are supposed to send the recs in themselves. Or that is how it was last year.
