Does PLME guarentee you into it's med school w/minimum standards(ie minimum GPA, MCAT at Brown)? Is the due date earlier?

Except you don't have to take the MCATs. Good deal, if you can get in.

the plme is a great program to be in. im in it right now and just started my freshman year here at brown. the requirements once ur in are similar to any pre-med program, the only difference is that your not competing to get into med school anymore - uve already been accepted. so everyone is much more laid back. for example, i didnt really want to take chem yet. i wasnt in the mood to sit through lab my first semester. and wahts great about plme is that i dont have to. were only required to take one full year of chem, one semester of inorganic and one of organic, and i can take it whenever i want, unlike the other premeds here, who have to take it now and have to get an A. to remain in the plme u must retain a 3.0, which is somewhat ironic as brown doesnt even calculate gpas anymore, but i guess they need to keep track of us somehow. although as far as the snc option goes (pass/fail) they suggest you take two courses snc and two for a grade each semester, although if u take a class snc they will request an evaluation, which is basically something written by the professor rating ur performance and saying what you would have gotten had you taken the course for a grade. what i love about the plme right now is ive met many of the requirements based on my ap scores. i placed out of every level of math i would need to take, as well as physics. of course, plme requirements are seperate from those required by ur concentration. that of course is different for everyone. so yeah. thats a good amt of info on the plme for anyone who has questions. anymore questions feel free to email me :-D
