I'm planning on applying EA to Harvard. Any predictions on my chances?
These are my stats:
Asian Female from Louisiana
4.0 GPA (unweighted)
1/136 rank (shared w/3 other people)
34 ACT
1500 SAT (m. 800 v. 700)
800 SAT II Math IIC
790 SAT II US History
770 SAT II Writing
770 SAT II Biology
760 SAT II Math IC
long list of ec's and awards, including FBLA, French club (regional president), writer for local newspaper, member of literary magazine staff, radio talkshow host, and many others
will probably be National Merit Semifinalist
won an award at national level for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
Do y'all think I could get in at Harvard if I apply EA? How about RD? If not, what are some good match and safety schools for me to apply to? Thank you soooooo much!!!

i responded in the other thread but i think that if you apply as a math/sci major you'll have at least a 50/50 chance which is the best any normal person can hope for there

hey what school do you go to?
I'm also from LA (BRMHS) and I'm going to apply to Harvard too, probably regular decision though, (MIT early). And I'm french club president too! I think. But anyway, you have nice stats and ec's you should have a pretty good chance.

i really dont see what you want people to say. anything other than an ivy league school is practically a safety school for you. you have as good a chance as anyone to get in

Eeeeyor...lol!! Thanks for knocking me back to reality...you are totally right. Same thing...I guess I was just too dense to realize what I was doing. I don't really see either what I want anyone to say. If they say I can get in, I feel skeptical. If they say I can't, I feel disappointed. And, I don't know why I think anyone can actually predict my chances. Thanks so much!
