It's hard for anyone on this board to answer this question, especially so because most people aren't familiar with the Indian educational system. That said, I'm an international student currently at Brown (and my family's from Chandigarh, as it happens), so although I don't really understand it either I'll give it a shot.
First off, as you probably know, Brown is not need blind for international students, so your applying for aid will affect (reduce) your chances. I do know international students with amazing aid packages, so it does happen; just be aware that your application has to be that much more amazing.
From the little information available, it seems like your stats are pretty much in common with the stereotypical Indian/Asian applicant; much stronger on math than verbal. I would reccomend that you do not take both Math IC and IIC - even if you are technically allowed to do this, it just doesn't add anything to your application. If you do well on the IIC, I would assume that your basic math is strong as well. Can't you take a science SAT II instead? Or even self-study the literature exam?
Your activities are fine, but again, there is nothing execptional. I would drop listing things like band member and quiz team member; it doesn't show leadership, and just dilutes your overall application.
It seems like your strongest "hook" is your extensive involvement in music, especially since you play the tabla, and rather than some form of western classical music. I would play that up in your essays.
I hope this helps and doesn't come accross as being too harsh. You should definitely go ahead and apply if Brown is where you want to be, and you definitely have a shot (it goes without saying that you should work really, really hard on all your essays). If aid is a major consideration, look at schools that are need blind for international students: Yale, Princeton and Williams come to mind. Good luck!
