So, here goes...
Caucasian girl from California, planning to apply EA
SATs: M-780, V-800, combined-1580
SAT IIs: writing-800, US history-750, french-740
ACTs: 35
PSATs: 234
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, about 4.2 weighted (out of 4.33)
APs: USH-5, English comp-5, French-5, Physics B-3 (darn you math and sciences)
Rank: my school doesn't, so I don't know what to tell ya there...
Courseload: most difficult (taking 5 more APs next year, fun fun)
ECs:
-school newspaper, 4 years (now EIC)
-mock trial team, 10&11th
-community and professional theater, 11 years (yay!)
-school musicals, 4 years
-voice lessons, 7 years (won regional National Association of Teachers of Singing competition in musical theater)
-photography, 3 years (won regional award for work in black&white)
-founded an a cappella quartet and perform to raise money for local non-profit theater groups (won award from nearby University for best high school a cappella), 4 years
-voice over work for animation companies (the new series is coming out this spring, joy!), 2 years
-taught drama at local elementary school, 2 years

the a capella and drama stuff looks very good, yale ea is a total joke how hard it is to get in as they're probably gonna take about 700/4200 this year and the top 2000 in the applicant pool are all incredible students, but i'd still say you've got a little better than 50/50 shot to get in.
