Sports:
Swim Team. I was Varsity in 10th grade, however I couldn't compete in 11th and I won’t be able to compete in 12th because of an arm injury.
Water Polo: I played Guard-Set for JV in tenth and eleventh grade. I could, however, hardly play in 11th because of my arm injury (that's why I was on JV and not Varsity). I won't be able to play for 12th because of my arm injury.
Recreational Golf since 7th grade. I’ve taken up Racquetball this summer.
Volunteer Service:
Tutor in 11th and 12th grade.
SOVA (a food pantry) 9th-12th grade
Super Sunday 11th and 12th (I worked the phones as a volenteer for about 12 hours on Super Sunday and I raised over 2500 bucks, one of the highest in my age group).
I started a charity with nikewages.org. I've got people from across the nation working for this.
I’m selling those yellow Lance Armstrong Bracelets
I'm conversant in spanish and hebrew. I read a bunch. Next year I'll probably write something in the school paper. I’ve had my computer graphics artwork appear in the Newspaper a couple of times and in the literature magazine. I've played guitar since 5th grade (that probably contributed to my injury! =p)
If I go into SAS I’ll probably major in mathematics or one of the sciences.
I'll probably get some awesome teacher recs.
I’ll probably apply to SAS ED. Should I apply to Wharton Ed?

Apply to the school you want to go to. Don't try and backdoor it because you might just end up regretting it.

Well do I have a shot at either?

Yeah, you have a good shot at both. As long as you have good essays and good recs you'll be in good shape.

If you have good essays and recs. BTW, a good essay isn't about how tough it was to be in swim or something like that, it has to be meaningful and reveal something about you not shown in the rest of your application. Get recs from teachers that know you in and out of the classroom, my lang/comp ap teacher happened to also be my Forensics (Speech and Debate) coach. You need to use your essays and recs to make up for your many B's. I think if you like Wharton you should apply to Wharton. If you like the college of arts and sciences apply to the college of arts and sciences. Regulus put it best in his post.
