How is the chemistry placement exam set up... Is it multiple chioce, short answer, a little bit of both???

this is what i heard about it so far. it's 50 m/c quetions and we need to get like 12 right to pass outa it. so i don't know i'm hopeing my info is correct and i got it from a student at brown who took it last year.

Yes, what Eddie said seems correct. I recieved this letter, in regards to the Chem 10-web Program:

"Chem.10-lecture is easier than chem.33. However, even a fraction of the knowledge discussed in chem.10-lecture should be sufficient to pass the
placement exam. (Actually, we expect that 90% of all students will pass the placement exam.)
