I have not been admitted to Dartmouth yet, but should i be accepted i will be choosing from Harvard, Duke, Dartmouth, and UC Berkeley. Can anyone offer me any advice in my college choice? I know these schools are very different, and i guess i would just be looking for some opinions on what people think about these schools compared to each other in all areas (social life, academic rigor, reputation, general environment)

All of them are REALLY good. Harvard obviously has the best reputation hands down. I is the most reputed American University in the world and has an excellent environment with a decent social life. Harvard's name may come in handy for jobs as well...Duke is also extremely reputed, but I am not sure whether it is internationally renowned. Its academics are comparable to Harvard, and if you like a rural area and are into sports, parties, and a school with an excellent name and weight, Duke is a great place...Dartmouth is in a rural setting, but it is very cold there. Many activities are offered as is an academic focus on undergraduates arguably unrivaled by any other college. Dartmouth students boast that all of their classes are tought by a professor rather than a T.A. Dartmouth is also much smaller, so you get more attention, and that can be a big factor in one's decision....Finally, UC Berkeley is probably the best and most reputed public university in the nation and is among the top overall universities in the world. The location is not superb, but I can guarantee that your experience will be. One of the FEW disadvantages of UCB is that it is huge, so much less individual attention can be offered...
You are in a big fix, Caliboy. These are all TOP NOTCH universities. Hope this info helps, and let me end with a request: Can you please post your stats?
