I'm sure there's a very easy answer to this that all you Harvard people know. I couldn't find out how on the web site, so now i ask here. I'm lookin for an alum interview since i live in the Chicago area.

Harvard will contact you about alumni interviewers in your area once you submit your application.

Wait, why wouldn't the interview be part of your application? Or is it, but they just wait 'til the interview to review your application? It won't be too late if I'm applying RD?
