SAT1-1440 (V 740 M 700)
SAT11- bio 730, math ic 710, writing 700
AP's - bio 4, euro his 4, english 4, psychology 3
GPA - 94.9 (95.2 weighted) RANK- 7/350
COURSES - did science research classes for 4 years, studied art for 2 years, took accelerated classes in 8th grade so i earned sophmore status in 9th grade. also took some other interesting classes like film, asian literature, journalism, and photograpy.
EC's - School newspaper for 3 years, editor for senior year. Key club, helping the elderly at nursing homes. also tutored kids in math for the regents exams.helped people cope after 9/11 through a hotline. started food drive for the homeless and did lots of other community projects. Web design club - designed the school's website and maintained it for 3 years.
Finalist at queens college science fair. winner at my school's science fair. poetry was published in anthologies and i've won essay contests, including a state wide one for new york.
my regents scores are all well into the 90's except for earth science regents which i took in the 8th grade and got a 79

Looks really promising to me, I don't know if NYC will help any but I think you have a good chance either way. Keep up the good work and you'll have a really good chance of getting in especially with all those interesting ECs.

Yes, you can get in. Simply walk through the main gate. If you need directions I can give them to you.
To answer your second question, living in NYC will help you get in since you can probably get there in less than five minutes via foot or the subway.

I appreciate your sense of humor. To answer your third question, I would say it could go either way - it's too close to call. Just wait and find out, my friend. I'm avoiding optimism, because if you convince yourself of the worst, you a.) will be that much more excited when you get in, or b.) will be somewhat prepared if you don't. Good luck.
