Hey, I got in the Harvard Summer School Program, and I was wondering just how big an accomplishment that is. Is it extremely competitive, and a great accomplishment, or is it not super competitive. I will be a junior next year by the way. If I take Calculus I and II there and get a recommendation from the math professor, will that and attending the program be great assets on my resume, or not very much. I want to be a math major at Harvard by the way.
Thanks

It means nothing. I'm also a sophomore taking Calculus I and Calculus II there. We aren't taught by a professor, a preceptor.
Taking a calculus course will help, but in terms of program distinction, it doesn't mean much. A community college credit in the same courses would be equivalent to SSP.
