Okay, I can't believe this.

One of my best friends knows somebody (a guy) that got accepted into Harvard a couple years ago. I have no clue what the person's stats were, I can imagine they must have been phenomenal. Because his entire essay was, "I am terse."

Gahhh.. No lie either. Geez, I wish I could pull that off.

unless there was some other part of the application that blew the admissions staff away (international science olympiad medal?), that's pretty much bs.

It could have been his "optional" essay. I just submitted a list of books I read in the past year with snarky VH1esque commentary.
