If I go to the engineering school,
are there any humanities core requirements? Thanks.
I hate history.

Yes. Engineering students are required to take a certain number of liberal arts courses. I think the current number is 6 and you aren't free to choose any course. Go here to download the latest version of the engineering undergrad handbook: http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/studentServices/UgradHandbook.cfm
That book is very important and make sure you know everything in it if you go to Cornell.
You hate history? I am an engineering student (used to go to Cornell) but I love history. This semester I did better than most other students in my class (97%...essay exams). Most were education majors.
