I am debating between the Golden Bear and the All You Can Eat dining package. Are the dining halls open just certain hours of the day? Are there dining places, say if I wanted to eat at 3 pm which would be available with one type of package but not with another? I read where lunch closes at 2:30 and reopens at 5. What are my options if I wanted to eat at 3 pm? Thanks for any information on this.

There are cash facilities that are open (you can use Big Red Bucks). Bear Necessities on North Campus, Ivy Room in Willard Straight Hall, and J's Crossing on West Campus on West Campus just to name a few.

the a la carte places are expensive.
