Spanish Honor Society 11,12 (tutor)

Clarinet ( I was in the band for 1 year, but now I pay independently)
I own and run a breedership for gerbil
Various volunteer work at animal hospitals and soup kitchens.
This summer I will be going to study Spanish at the University of Seville.
I know that my SAT math score is pretty low, but this was my fist time taking the SAT with almost no prep, and although math is not my favorite subject, I think I can definetily(sp?) raise my score. Hopefully the classes, I'm taking over the summer can help me.

It goes without question that you must improve your math...The competition is getting tougher and tougher every year, especially for minority candidates, though all hope is not lost. Your SAT II's so far are excellent! I applied as a URM to Harvard with a 1440 SAT, top 3%, excellent recs and good essays and was waitlisted. I had no allusions that Harvard would be a cakewalk, but still, if you are motivated and keep up the good work, you have good prospects.

Candi do you know what would be an ideal or fairly strong Math SAT score?

you should at least try to bring it up to a 600, although ideally a 700 would be perfect

I think that with work, you could easily bring it up to a 650, you seem very bright.
