The dorm I stayed in(I believe it was Wigglesworth) was right over the subway, next to a street, and under an airplane flight path. It was loud to say the least.

I was just at Harvard over the weekend and I stayed with a friend in Canaday, which was rather ugly (it was like Soviet/Georgian architecture which was not a good mix). Luckily, my friend basically spent all his time in Weld which was incredible. I never thought a dorm room could be so beautiful, but it had skylights and nice hardwood floors and the dorm has a really cool observation deck.

Think what you may, Canaday has some huge benefits over the older dorms. It has big common rooms, warm carpet, showers with power, it's close to Annenberg (food) & the Sci Ctr (mail)...etc.
Canaday has huge pride.

By Ilovethe80s (Ilovethe80s) on Friday, April 16, 2004 - 11:55 pm: Edit

anybody know about the room arrangements?

By Ratrace02 (Ratrace02) on Saturday, April 17, 2004 - 10:29 am: Edit

hmm all i know is that all the rooms in Hollis/Stoughton are all singles or doubles. Weld has the suites with 5/6 people in it but it also has the 3/4 arrangement too.
