April 1 is so soon, yet so far. What are you guys doing to pass the time better, as I'm sure every single one of us that applied grow exponentially anxious by the day. So yea....

I'm anxiously waiting for UC decisions. I'm trying so hard to not think about Princeton because if I get rejected I don't want to be TOO sad. I'm also checking CC daily

I find my level of CC-checking is increasing exponentially as the date gets closer... haha. And I have no real reason to be checking it anyways. ARRRRRRR. ;P
I wish there was something... anything I could do to help my chances. Oh well, all I can do now is pray. -.-

Princeton mails them out. Acceptances are mailed via Priority and waitlists and rejections via regular mail. Priority takes one day to get to NYC; elsewhere, 2 days or more. They will probably mail to ensure delivery by April 1st, though I am not sure of the exact date (nor is the admissions office, it seems).

I'm actually checking CC less and less as the deadline approaches. No sense in all getting riled up for a rejection! P'ton's my 2nd choice, but may end up being first if their financial aid is generous! (assuming I even get in!)

The admissions office told me on the phone today when I called about something else that decisions will be sent out "early to mid April". And here I thought we would hear from all schools around April 1. I can't believe it could be later! Then again, getting their application to fill out was later than everyone else too this fall.

I visited today, and the guy who gave the information talk (I think he was assistant dean of admissions) said they're not sure when they're going to send letters but it'll probably be the last week of march or the first week of april. He said we should have them by the end of the first week of April.

but most colleges are anti-email. It's not secure. Do you want some hacker knowing what college you got into and how much money you could get as finaid?

It would be nice, though if they announced a date after which you could call.

There's no way they'll delay for too long, since we've got to get back to them by May 1. At the absolute latest, I'd guess April 7ish so as to give us about 20 days to decide.... right?
