Hi everyone,
Sunday, a teacher at my school, and also a graduate of Cornell called me and asked if I could do an interview that day. She had meant for me to do it a while ago, but she got sick, forgot, and it was due on Sunday. Is it true that they only interview those they are seriously considering for ILR? I really, really want to go to Cornell, and am really hoping to get in. I have a 4.11 weighted GPA, have done 100s of hours of volunteer work, 1270 on SATs, 690 SATII math, 690 SATII Spanish (non-native speaker) and 800 SATII writing. I am a member of our school newspaper staff and hold a managerial position there. I have played piano for about 7 years and am also the member of a minority background. I think my essays were good and my interview went well. Do you guys think I have an OK chance of making it? Any help appreciated.

I agree...I am DYING to know...also, does anyone know when we actually find out? I know rolling, but is there a general time when ILR decisions come out?

I THINK AS LONG AS YOU SHOWED A GENIUNE INTEREST IN THE SCHOOL YOU HAVE A GREAT CHANCE OF GETTING IN.MAKE SURE PEOPLE KNOW YOUR NAME, MAKE SURE U ATTEND CORNELL EVENTS/ SEMINAR IF YOU CAN BECAUSE THEIR AND THOUSANDS WHO ARE APPLYING TO CORNELL WITH THE SAME, BETTER, AND WORSE STATS THAN YOU. THE QUESTION IS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING/ DID YOU TOO TO STAND OUT TO MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO DENY YOU.
