Haha well, I have aborted any effort in getting a single this semester. Too many people on the list. So now, if any current students are still here, can you tell me the chance of getting a single on campus as a junior? We get second pick of the rooms. ALL I WANT IS A SINGLE. Preferably in the Gothic dorms, but really anywhere as long as it's just me. Do most juniors end up with singles?

So, does reality meet expectations and dreams. How is it after the first day? Dorms and food? Glad you transferred to Cornell

I would say it does, except I can't wait to see some green (the snow won't leave until April probably). I'm not thrilled with my own dorm, but most dorms on campus seem to be really nice. Food is excellent. I'm having a great time so far and I've done so many things. I would say reality meets expectations, except now that reality is sinking in: the semester is starting again and I have tons of work to do.
