I know that every school has a slightly different policy on this, but... what is Cornell's policy about mattresses? Are we allowed to buy a new one? If so, what do we have to do with the old one? Any current Cornellians who have had experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Well, the mattresses are extra long. Putting a regular mattress on an extra long frame would be kinda weird.

I wouldn't see the point. The beds at Cornell are comfortable enough.

yeah they pretty much are, you can buy one of those foam cover things if you really are accustomed to the finer things in life.
btw, the extra long thing is kind of a joke, i put regular sheets on and they don't seem extra short, so.....
