Hey, I got in Columbia and congratulations to all others.
Do any of you know if we'd be able to purchase sweaters or hoodies with the Columbia logo early?
I know it's cocky, but I just can't resist the urge to strut down my high school hallways, donning their logo, lol.
Thanks in advance

(lol, I should just go to the college myself and ask, being that I live in Manhattan and 10 min away, lol.)

Most logical place would be the school store...

...which you are REALLY close to. Jeeze :b

lol, I know, I was just wondering if they would just let anyone purchase it, being that I haven't started my attendence

You don't have to be a student to purchase stuff. You can buy stuff there or also on their website. I ordered my sweatshirt a few days after I was accepted. =)

i ordered a sweatshirt for myself, but i won't wear it anywhere but home.

You do not need to be a Columbia student to buy Columbia University merchandise at the bookstore. I was at Columbia when my my son went there for a math competition (he was in 10th grade at the time) and he bought a hat and a tee shirt. Have fun!

Try Ivy League's ivysport.com. They sell Columbia T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items.

Haha, so yeah..
I stopped at the columbia bookstore today after school (my hs is on the same block, different avenue, lol), and I got the hooded sweatshirt in navy blue, with white "COLUMBIA" logo.
I didn't like the 54.99 price tag, but oh well.
I can't wait to wear it to school tomorrow! lol

I got the light blue squishy one. It's so comfy, and comforting; a constant reminder that I got into college.

I got my son the dark blue one with white Columbia for Christmas--don't think he's taken it off yet!

haha i got the navy w/ white lettering for my birthday from my godfather (who lives in manhattan). apparently my grandma ordered me a light blue one that hasn't come yet. guess we'll all look like the bobsey twins next fall... :)

Godis- if you haven't received it yet and don't know how it feels- it's really squishy and soft. It is a very high quality sweatshirt.

By Godis (Godis) on Sunday, January 18, 2004 - 10:54 pm: Edit

topnotch, topnotch. i haven't received it yet so i'm looking forward to the squishiness. i could use a high-quality sweatshirt because my fashion sense sucks. i'm going to need my mother to come with me to the city so she can continue buying me clothes (as she's done for my entire life).

By Dinofloss (Dinofloss) on Monday, January 19, 2004 - 11:57 am: Edit

That's adorably pathetic. (:))

question- the navy hoodie- would a small fit a girl? ( i wear a sm/ med in girls sizes, but i dont want to order it if its going to be huge)

By Me1 (Me1) on Sunday, January 25, 2004 - 10:08 pm: Edit

I got the hoodie in small. I'm a small girl (5'2, normal healthy weight) & it is pretty big on me. If you don't mind it baggy, it's okay, but otherwise you might not like it.

i guess the fact that it says columbia on it will make me ignore the hugeness factor.
