OK I applied ED to Princeton and got in (so i'm like the happiest person in the world). But I wanted to hear from the rest of the future Tigers why they chose to apply like me to Princeton over Harvard, Yale, Stanford, or wherever else they were considering.

Does it matter? Princeton is one of the best schools in the world. You can't go wrong. Good job getting in, and enjoy your 4 years.

I didn't apply ED to Princeton, but I can tell you that Princeton's undergraduate program is frequently regarded as the best of HYS, because it doesn't offer too many graduate schools so the professors are a lot more focused on the undergraduates (They don't offer law, medical, or business grad schools if I remember correctly.) That and the profs are the world's best.

Besides Stanford, Princeton will give you that small college town feel, with plenty of green spaces and beautiful architecture and buildings. Since it's self-contained, most of the campus life will focus around Princeton itself, because it isn't easy to go out, like in Columbia or maybe Harvard. It's only an hour or two from Philadelphia or New York though, if you feel cravings for the big city once in a while. Princeton tends to attract very interesting people, since they require 4 essays, the interesting people tend to stand out and get accepted. Uhm, it also offers the best financial aid out of HYS.

As for me, I still wouldn't know what to do if I were forced to choose between HYP. But that's just me, I like vacillating.

Financial aid won't screw over middle class people, since they never ask for the price of your house and therefore never expect you to borrow against it to pay for college.

Furthermore, it comes in all grants and work-study. How great is that.

Oh yeah, and someone told me Princeton was a good school too... haha.
