This must be a joke. And if it isn't, why in god's name would we want to try to convince you to come to Dartmouth? You're going to Harvard anyway, as the only reason to apply to "other Ivies" randomly is because you're a prestige-monger--and you're already accepted to the most prestigious of them all.

Don't get too worked up here. If you search previous messages for posts by MJL86, you will see some that list stats so low as to be obviously bogus, and others which are quite reasonable, but neither of which resemble those in this thread. Don't know what MJL86 exactly had in mind.....

Because Dartmouth is awesome! People there are far happier/relaxed than the others schools I visited.

I'm in a similar situation (Yale EA) but will go to Dartmouth if accepted.

Good Raspberries!!! We should let people like Mjl86 know why we chose or will choose to attend Dartmouth over other schools. I could have gone to other med schools which were ranked (by U.S News & WR) much higher than Dartmouth, but I chose this school because personally I felt no other med schools in the US which could offer the best of all worlds like Dartmouth. It is true that Dartmouth is much smaller and more rural than most, if not all, of its peer institutions. However, it is only here where you will receive a world-class education and live in a safe, happy, relaxed, beautiful, and supportive environment. Do you need a few more reasons, Mjl86?
