I know 4 ppl who got into CC past two yrs. Their SAT were bw 1350-1490.

What were your stats? By the way, I am a black female applying rd to columbia with 1440 sat, so-so ec's, and 3.7 gpa. Since you were accepted, any thoughts?

Yeah I think you stand a good chance. My SATs weren't that stellar, but I have a 4.0 GPA and am ranked first in my class (225 students). I think my being from the Midwest and having national recognition in TV acting/Theatre helped as well. Columbia wants a diverse class, so if you have certain hooks, even geographically, I believe that can help. Don't worry.

Since you are a URM, you stand a good chance, I think. But it's not like I'm an admissions officer or anything.

Is Columbia your first choice?

It is like my second. Its not like I'm a valedictorian though, I am ranked 8/372. I think geography works against me, I am in NY. My interview was pretty good though, so I am still hoping.
