I'm an intern for my local California Assemblywoman, and they like what I think about politics and said they would be happy to give me a letter of recommendation to Harvard. (I know the people in her office on a first-name basis)
Also, I *could* get a letter of reccomendation from my local Congressman if I really wanted to.
They whole basis of my EC is the fact that I am obsessed with politics.
So would any of those two recommendations help me a great deal?

I dunno, i mean the admissions people emphasized that it's bad if you get like the governor to write a rec that could apply to everyone. Make sure the rec is really specific to you and is a real rec, not just one that's signed by someone big.
