i would suggest looking at the first few pages of the viewbook...there are a buncha quotes that are similar to ones that some of us probably wrote.

i thought the viewbook was awful. for the why columbia question, i wrote about research that i was interested in doing, projects that were going on, clubs devoted to that research, and stuff like that.
on the favorite activity thing, i went as indepth as i could about jazz in five lines.
