Columbia says that if you apply to SEAS, you must have a MATH (not science) teacher recommendation. I was going to have my competer science teacher write a rec for me but it seems that Columbia wants a math only teacher, not a science teacher. Would it be bad to send the Compueter science teacher's rec anyways. I cant just ask my math teacher for one rec, thats kinda mean. Any ideas??

it probably would be bad then if they asked only for a math teacher rec. Just ask your fav. math teacher...i'm sure he'll right you a good rec..BTW whats ur stats, i'm applying SEAS as well.. just wanting to compare. Check out my post a few down called "Applying Columbia SEAS early? post stats here to compare"
