I really like Columbia as a school, but I inted on majoring in Bio. I haven't heard Columbia's bio program being too good. Does anyone know ?

you might be interested in the SEAS program, they have a lot of biomedical courses, but as for the college, the core classes do take up alot, leaving less room for bio. try johns hopkins

Yeah SEAS (Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) is really great. and its also easier to get into, bc not as many people apply, but it's still just as challenging as Columbia if not more so. That may be a good fit.

i heard the contrary..i heard that some of the top programs at columbia are journalism history biology and physics. maybe im wrong though.

Columbia doesn't have journalism...only their graduate school does. Maybe they were referring to the graduate school...

Could someome tell me a little more about the SEAS program? Do Columbia's core requirements really bring a lot of stress and inflexibility?
