Hello, I just took the SAT II Physics Test and I think I got something like a 700-730, which although it would be a really decent on most tests, is pretty low "percentile-wise" for the Physics test. Would this significantly hurt my chances to get into MIT/Caltech. Assuming that I get a 700 on the Physics, my SAT I/II average will be a 768. The reason I didn't really do well was that I only took an introductory physics course 2 years ago and just started my physics AP course a few weeks ago (we're still on kinematics). Furthermore I was not able to take an AP Science scince this year because I always had schedule conflicts (instead I took a bunch of math classes).
So, am I stressing over nothing, or should I forget early apps and retake the test on one of the upcoming dates?

hrm.
I say apply early, and retake.
With your other stats, at worst they'll be reevaluating you in RD, at which point you'll have kickass scores.

Thanks, I forgot that MIT let's you take tests in November as well, maybe I'll try chemistry or something in addition, we'll see.
Thanks for the tip, Yz16.
