"You may apply to the transfer program as long as you have at least one year
of full time college study but not more than 2 years."
Does that mean if I'm a second-year student but will have enough credits to be considered a junior before the end of the year, I'm not eligible to transfer? (I don't even think all of my courses wil transfer over to any of the schools I'm applying to, and I am still going to graduate in 2007.) If I do have more credits than necessary, should I try applying anyways? Will they really turn me away because I have a few extra credits?
Also, would taking one course Pass/Fail (out of 14 taken) look bad on a transfer application? (The course isn't related to my major.)
Thanks!

I think most schools only consider the trasnferable courses regardless of how many units youv'e taken. So no you won't be disqualified if you are past junior status. I for example have already completed 70 units 10 more than the 60 required for the UC's however I was told by an admissions officer at UCLA that not all units will be counted only the UC transferable and those in my major. I read somewhere here that if you had somewhere like 80 or more units you are disqualified I was also told that it was not true. You should find out from another source to confirm what I'm saying but that's what I heard straight from the horse's mouth. As far as the Pass/fail question it varies from school to school go to their websites and find out everything you asked about is asnwered in their transfer section.
