Obviously transferring to Duke is going to be tough even for the most academically talented student. Just wondering if it is any less selective to apply for spring semester over fall (doubting I'll get in for fall). This will help, since by the end of the year I'll have 38 credits and they only take 17. I'll have 23 at the semester mark. Thx

Brown says it's easier for transfers to get in for Spring.
Harvard says if you check the "either semester (fall or spring)" you have a better chance of getting in.
So, It's probably easier to get in for Spring, but the info should be buried somewhere in the Duke website. If it isn't, call them and ask real quick. And then post what you find out here. :D

The Duke transfer site states that they are not taking apps for Spring 2005 semester. oh well if my gpa is over a 3.5 at the end of the semester I might apply for the fall semester, since they look at your college stuff more than ur hs stuff (my hs stuff was decent anyway so lol)
