I just finished reading Christopher Avery's "The Early Admissions Game." Towards the end of the book, page 286 to be exact, he mentions that there are 48 schools that offer Early Decision 2.
In other words, if a student applies E.D. to his/her first choice school and is rejected, he/she can still apply to a second choice school via E.D.-2, before the regular rounds of applications start in January.
Does anyone here know which are the 48 colleges/Universities that have "Early Decision two?"

I know that many liberal arts schools have ED II. No Ivies have the program. Off of the top of my head these schools have ed 2:
Bowdoin
Middlebury
Bates
Wesleyan
Swarthmore
Tufts
Trinity
Vassar
Colby
Franklin and Marshall
Schools that do not have ED II
Haverford
Wellesley
Amherst
Williams
Bryn Mawr
