Yep, and another got their PhD from Cal. Aside from that, 1/3 of the Nobel Prize in chemestry today was awarded to a UCI prof. Yes, we should be proud.
Californians should be proud as always because aside from those mentioned, Caltech is also successful this year. Go UC's and more importantly go California!!
