Hi I am an international student who has got a no. of queries . I didnt know where else to post them so i did them here . I would appreciate some help.

(1) Do you submit photocopies of important certificates with the app ? I an a B.A. in Indian Classical Music and have 5 official annual certificates.
(2) By how much is the average score of internationals more than the US average?
(3) Does applying ED as an international improve your chances of admission than normal ? Colgate by the way.
(4) Does being extremely focussed on your career choice (Business School) hamper your chances at liberal arts school ?
(5) What is an analytical / critical essay ? Its not part of my Indian curriculum so how do i go about with it?
(6) How does submitting my poem along with my Common App Essay sound . They are very well inter-connected/
(7) Does few but important ECs sound more impressive or more and less important?
(8) Can you send Secondary school report(Common App) and teachers recommendations (in sealed envelopes ) im my admission package?

Thanks

I think you should contact the admissions office of wherever you're applying with your questions, because some of them are really specific and the school would have the best answer. I can answer a few of your questions, though:
2)No
3)International students are usually not allowed to apply ED or EA
6)Most colleges allow you to send supplementary material with your application
7)It's best to have a smaller amount of EC's that you are really involved in and have significant achievement in.
8)This is different for every school, but they tell you in the application if they want them all together or separate. If they say that the teachers should mail the recs separately but you think it's easier to send it all together, check with the school first.
