Hey do you guys know anything about the Posse Foundation, like how are you chosen, out of how many, stuff like that?

Do you know of anyone who was accepted and where did they end up going?

I know of two from two different schools and school years and they both ended up at Grinnel,

Check the website www.possefoundation.org.if you haven't already. The program is active at my son's college and it seems like great opportunities are available. Maybe a post in college life or at specific individual colleges would lead to posts from students involved with Posse.

Young man from My Daughter's school is a freshman at Colby (but I don't think it was a total free ride)

You should also look into progreams like Questbridge Scholars

i did check the possefoundation website but i only got out what i already knew. I was just wondering like of the 50 students that they pick from all the posse foundation is it per city or per country that they pick the top 50? and like how many kids are nominated and how many actually get in.

I thought it was ~10 per city. My daughter is at a posse school. Her roommate is from NYC and applied for a NYC posse spot, was rejected but received a decent scholarship from her own direct application to the school and decided to attend.

interesting, well i say 50 because i think thats what it said on the site or on a paper i read, but i think it might be by city because from what i understand from those 50 chosen, 10 go to 5 different schools. how many people where at the info session for posse?
