I have decided to attend Northwestern this fall, but I am worried I have made the wrong choice. Have any of you been there? What do you think?

I'm international and I've pretty much decided to go to NU as well, so I'd like to find out about this too.... it's impossible for me to attend Preview NU because of my school timetable, so any feedback would be great...

Sophiehut, where abouts are ya? Have you definitely decided to go to NU? I'm choosing between NU Arts and Sciences for Econ and Cornell for the same, but Cornell seems like a real shithole...hey I was wondering, is there anywhere on the form where we can specify which dorms at NU we want?

hey, im in the uk. I am definitely going to NU. I think we get to choose when we get our housing information, but I'm not quite sure.

Northwestern = great academics, very pleasant environment, access to lots of big city cultural stuff

Don't go to NU if it doesn't fit your major or you can't afford it...but it's a very good school.

Hi Sophie, Northwestern is a wonderful University. I agree with everything Thedad said in his previous post. Everyone we know who is going to NU is very happy. Personally, I think you made a good choice. Best of luck!

Yeah, I will go to Northwestern is they give me a good financial aid package. Is diversity good at Northwestern?

yay! more Northwestern seniors like me hehe...I got an excellent financial aid package, surprisingly. To my understanding, Diversity at NU is something like 10% Asian, 5%Hispanic/Latino, 6%African American, 2%Native American (I think..) and the rest Anglo American. So it's not terrible in discrepancies but there is that predominance of the Anglo.
