Does anyone know what the SAT I average is for incoming freshmen entering EECS at Berkeley? Their Engineering school's average is about 1390, but I hear their EECS average is higher...

I personally know one who got into Berkeley's EECS with a 1340 SAT I and 800/800/630 SAT II's.

I know a couple of people who got into UCLA Engineering and had high SAT scores (1450+), but got rejected from berkeley's engineering school.

I was rejected with a 4.6 weighted GPA and 1510 / 800 / 800 / 780. Took 9 AP classes (including Calc BC, both Physics C, Chemistry, Biology, CS AB), got eight 5's and one 4, National AP Scholar, National Merit Finalist, 4-year Chicago math champion, state awards in math and chemistry, High Honors in U.S. Chemistry Olympiad. Keep in mind that this was in 2000, when admissions was less competitive than now.
