I got wait listed by stanford. If I agree to be put on the wait list and get admitted, can I still reject the offer (and if I do it, they'll have time to admit someone else right?).
I am asking, because I got admitted by MIT, but can't decide between it and stanford(if they decide to admit me). I think I am leaning toward mit right now, though I wanna see what they'll possibly send as an admission package, because I am international student and haven't visited the campus (I know a lot about both schools academics, but nothing about their feel).
Btbw, Do you know of a site where I can learn this sort of stuff?

Yes, you can most likely can reject Stanford's offer since the acceptance is in no way binding. Although I'm uncertain as to their unique policies, since you have not expressly signed some sort of agreement, I am sure that you should have nothing to worry about.
